Pop and I had the chance to go up to the Mammoth Lakes area.  We decided to try Laurel Lakes, but the road was blocked with snow.

What did we do?  Backed the truck down the road about 1/4 mile and then hiked down over the side and made it into an adventure. (Travis and I have done this very thing.)

Turned out to be lots of fun, but no fish.  No worries, we still had fun.
