Our first trip for 2018!  We're really excited, as usual.  The day started out totally foggy, which is pretty neat when you're out on the water.  Our hopes were high for a good catching day.

There were quite a few boats and kayaks on the water; all fishing.  Not much happened in the fog, so we hoped for the sun.  When the sun did come out - nothing changed.  The bite wasn't on.   We didn't see a single person - boat or kayak - catch anything; not even crappy.  Oh well, it was still a good day.  We got to spend the day together on the water.

Hodges hasn't been very good the last couple of years.  I think we're going to start going to El Capitan much more now and maybe even Lower Otay or a few of the other bass lakes.
